In the event of these postponed matches, Football NSW consulted with a number of the participating clubs and with the Competitions department and it was decided that each team be awarded one point and that the round would not be rescheduled.
The reason for making this determination was as follows:
* Matches have already been scheduled for Round 2 this weekend, Round 3 Wednesday evening (30 Jan), and Round 4 the following weekend.
This means players who are not fully match fit will already have three games in seven days. To schedule a fourth match three days later we believe will not be in the interest of the players.
All Johnny Warren Cup fixtures return as per normal this weekend as Round 2 kicks off with the following matches scheduled.
Marconi Stallions v Bankstown City ? Saturday 5.30pm, John Crehan Park
Wollongong Wolves v Sydney Olympic ? Saturday 7.30pm, John Crehan Park
