The MPIO course accredited by the Australian Sports Commission and is provided for people involved in football clubs and associations who wish to be trained as an MPIO.
The course runs for two days and covers anti-discrimination and child protection legislations; the role of the MPIO; complaint processes; practical skills for receiving complaints from adults; skill and processes to follow when receiving a complaint from a child; and alternative dispute resolution. The course is suitable for persons at all levels of football and will assist in providing a safer and more enjoyable sporting environment.
The MPIO Course is an Australian Sports Commission accredited course and is conducted in NSW in conjunction with the NSW Sports Federation and the NSW Department of Sport & Recreation.
