Musumeci Twins to Shine for Olympic

Both have recently returned from injury and are slowing working their way back into the Sydney Olympic senior team by playing with the under-20s.
And both brothers concur that a lot is expected from the Milan Blagojevic-coached team this year.
 ?Nothing less than a top two finish is expected,? Marino said, while Carlo added: ?Yes, a top two finish is definitely what we want.?
The Musumeci twins have always played together. From their junior days right through until now, at 23 years of age, it has been rare for one to play in a team without the other.
?I played with him all my life except for one year when I came here to Sydney Olympic and he went to Parramatta Power,? said Carlo, who is older by 20 minutes.
Marino, a manager of a fast food restaurant in Kingsford, and Carlo, a cabinet maker, have played their senior football with A.P.I.A. Leichhardt, Bankstown City and Sydney Olympic; Marino also had a one year stint in the old NSL with Parramatta Power.
Marino, like his slightly older sibling, said it was great to play in the same team as his brother.
?It?s great because it?s someone you know and someone is there by your side all the time so, I guess, there is nothing more you could ask for.?
Sydney Olympic fans will certainly be looking forward to the talented Musumeci twins bolstering their team and putting extra pressure on some players as they try to force their return into the starting eleven.
The former students of Marist College Pagewood are also part of a very talented football family. Younger brother Anthony, currently a Year 12 student, is a promising player for the NSWIS side.
