Premier Youth League Round 13 Review
Grade 13
Sutherland Sharks held onto the competition lead when they downed ninth placed Penrith Nepean United1-0 while Marconi Stallions are one point behind the frontrunners following their 1-0 victory over Sydney United who have remained at fifth.
Manly United FC are still in third position after they were held to a 1-1 draw by fourth placed Blacktown City Demons and Macarthur Rams are only two points outside the top five following their 3-0 win over eighth placed West Sydney Berries.
A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers are three points further back at seventh after they surprisingly lost 1-0 to last placed Bankstown City while Wollongong FC and Sydney Olympic remained at tenth eleventh and tenth respectively after their clash finished at 1-1.
Grade 14
Marconi Stallions are still in the number one spot on the table following their 2-0 success over fifth placed Sydney United while Sutherland Sharks are second on goal difference after they downed fourth placed Penrith Nepean United 2-0.
Third placed Blacktown City Demons posted a 5-0 result over tenth placed Manly United FC and a 2-0 win over ninth placed NSWIS Girls and West Sydney Berries are two points outside the top four after their 1-0 success over eleventh placed Macarthur Rams.
Sydney Olympic remained at seventh on goal difference thanks to their 1-0 victory over twelfth placed Wollongong FC and A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers are two points further back at eighth following their scoreless draw with Bankstown City who are at the foot of the table.
Grade 15
A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers moved up one place to lead the way after they were 2-0 winners over twelfth placed Bankstown City while Wollongong FC slipped back to second after they went down 3-1 to Sydney Olympic who have remained at fifth.
Blacktown City Demons climbed one place to third thanks to a 3-0 win over Manly United FC who dropped back one place to eighth and a 2-1 result over last paced NSWIS Girls while Marconi Stallions fell from third to fourth following their 2-0 loss to sixth placed Sydney United.
Macarthur Rams rose one position to seventh with a 1-0 win over West Sydney Berries who have remained at ninth and Penrith Nepean United stayed at eleventh even though the defeated tenth placed Sutherland Sharks 3-0.
Grade 16
Manly United FC remained at the head of the table after they fought out a scoreless draw with fourth placed Blacktown City Demons and A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers are still at second following their 2-0 victory over tenth placed Bankstown City.
Marconi Stallions retained third position despite their 1-0 loss to fifth placed Sydney United and Wollongong FC are in sixth spot on goal difference after they were 3-2 winners over Sydney Olympic who have dropped from eighth to eleventh.
Penrith Nepean United are in seventh position following their 2-0 loss to Sutherland Sharks who have jumped from tenth to eighth while West Sydney Berries and Macarthur Rams played out a 1-1 draw which has left the Berries at the foot of the table and the Rams at ninth.
Grade 18
Marconi Stallions are still the competition frontrunners after they were 2-0 winners over Sydney United who dropped back one place to ninth while Blacktown City Demons are in second place on goal difference following their 3-0 success over Manly United FC who slipped from ninth to tenth.
Penrith Nepean United are placed third on goal difference thanks to their 2-1 victory over last placed Sutherland Sharks and A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers are two points further back at fourth after they posted a 3-0 win over Bankstown City who went back one place to eighth.
Sydney Olympic retained fifth place with a 2-1 result over sixth placed Wollongong FC and Macarthur Rams moved up three places to seventh thanks to their 1-0 win over eleventh placed West Sydney Berries.
