Taryn Rockall?s history in football is littered with highlights.
A Matilda, World Cup Representative in 2003, NSW Captain, a member of the mighty Arsenal Ladies team; Taryn has done it all.
This season Taryn is Club Captain at Penrith Nepean United where she also assists Lisa Warrener in coaching the 1st Grade squad. Taryn brings a wealth of experience to a young side that is proving to be very competitive in the 2008 Arrive Alive NSW Women?s Premier League.

Representative honours: Matildas (2001-2002, World Cup Representative 2003), NSW Sapphires (Captain), NSW Under 16?s & Under 19?s, Australian Schoolgirls, Arsenal.
Which junior club did you play for? : I started with Mount Druitt Colts, then went to Rooty Hill RSL. I graduated to the WSL at age 12 with Gladesville Ravens before stints with Marconi, White City and the NSWIS
Why football? : I come from an English background so that certainly had a bearing on things! My brother started playing, I then got involved. I enjoyed watching and then playing.
Most respected opponent? : Annisa Tan. Annisa set the benchmarks for women?s football in this country. A real trailblazer.
If you could sign anyone in world football for Penrith Nepean, who would it be? : Ryan Giggs or Mia Hamm
If you had to sing a song at karaoke, what would it be? : I?m not into karaoke!
Who would you like to be stuck in a lift with? : I?d rather not be stuck in a lift at all but, if I was I?d prefer to share it with Ryan Giggs.
Interests outside of football? : My nephews. They play rugby league for the Brothers club in the local competition at Penrith. I like to help out at their training.
Favourite meal before a game? : A salad sandwich.
Your favourite football memory? : Representing Australia and being part of the 2003 World Cup Squad.
Who?s the team to beat in this season?s Arrive Alive NSW Women?s Premier League? : The Macarthur Rams. They?re a very talented side.
