During the recent week long Girls? National Youth Football Championships, the Country Girls defeated staunch rivals NSW Metro 2-1 in the Grand-Final.
Having secured the prestigious title, there were five Southern NSW based girls that were part of the successful squad who managed to beat their fancied opponents.
Elise Battin, Tenealle Hay, Lani Honecker, Alix Roberts and Lisa Stockman were all part of the squad that lifted up the coveted trophy at Coffs Harbour.
