Australian Youth Olympic Festival set to hit VSP in January

The AYOF seeks to provide future Olympic athletes with an environment reminiscent of an Olympic Games and promote the Olympic ideals of friendship, solidarity and fair play.
The event has the patronage of the IOC. The five day AYOF embraces a high level of sports competition, and features elements of the Olympic Games model such as an Opening Ceremony, Medal Ceremonies and Village type accommodation for athletes and team officials.

18 January 2008 (Finals)
Divisions:   U18 Men only
Teams:       Four team competition

Volunteers Wanted
Football NSW is calling upon interested persons to apply for a number of available volunteer positions with regards to the 2009 Australian Youth Olympic Festival.
Attached is the ?Volunteer Expression of Interest Form? and the ?Football NSW Volunteer Role Descriptions?. To apply for one or more of the positions, applicants are required to complete the Volunteer Expression of Interest Form and also include a brief cover letter and resume. Ideally, the cover letter and resume will outline the applicant?s previous experience in a similar role, however, individuals with minimal experience are still encouraged to apply.
