Lee Sterrey officially announced as Marconi Stallions head coach for 2009

Sterrey, a former Stallions? player, returns to the club he also coached in the former National Soccer League (NSL) in seasons 2001-02.
A coach renowned for placing a strong emphasis on youth development, he brings plenty of experience to the role, having previously been at the helm of Newcastle United, Olympic Sharks and Fiji.
Marconi Football Club President, Vince Foti, was confident that Sterrey?s impressive credentials, combined with his strong work ethic, would lead to success.
?Having played and coached at the club, Lee is aware of our history and the high standards we expect,? Mr Foti said.
?We certainly look at Lee as a person who has all the qualities of a very good coach and with his experience he commands plenty of respect?.

Bryan Rhodes has been appointed to the vacant position of the Grade 20s Coach. Having won the Premiership three times and the Championship four times, in the last four years, Bryan is looking forward to the challenge of senior football.
