Sun, surf and football on offer at Toowoon Bay

The inaugural Mariners Summer Beach Football Tournament will take place at the Mariners? occasional recovery venue at Toowoon Bay on Saturday, 3 January for eight teams consisting of men and women over 18 years of age.
 
The prize on offer for the winning team will be a $1,000 gift card from Westfield Tuggerah, in addition to tickets for the Mariners? Hyundai A-League clash against the Queensland Roar at Bluetongue Stadium on Saturday, 10 January.
 
Teams will be granted a starting berth at the Mariners Summer Beach Football Tournament on a first come, first served basis and with only eight slots available, interested teams are advised to register their interest as soon as possible.
 
“The beach culture is iconic to the Central Coast and to the Mariners and this tournament provides our Members and supporters with a fantastic opportunity to experience the incredible atmosphere of a summer on the Central Coast,” said Mariners Executive Chairman Lyall Gorman.
 
“We look forward to co-ordinating this tournament and thank Westfield and Surf Life Saving Central Coast for their help in organising what I?m certain will be a positive and memorable experience for all concerned.”
