Marconi Stadium hit by Socceroos fever

Prior to the huge World Cup qualifying clash,Socceroos coach Pim Verbeek and his men assembled at Marconi Stadium and had numerous training sessions on the quality surface before the Uzbekistan match last Wednesday.
From all reports, a number of the players were impressed with the surface with a couple reminiscing about the good old times they spent at the club.
Socceroos stars such as Harry Kewell, Mark Schwarzer, Michael Beauchamp and Bruce Djite all played for the Stallions during their careers in Australia before they moved abroad to European clubs.
