On the back of their first venture into the Asian Champions League, the Central Coast Mariners have undergone some changes in playing personnel and coach Lawrie McKenna will be aiming for a strong season to push for another Asian Champions League berth for the 2010/2011compeition.
Whilst the Central Coast Mariners have previously played two matches in Western NSW, both games were held in Orange and this will be the first time an A-League game has been played at Dubbo.
Western NSW Football Operations and Development Manager Andrew Fearnley believes that this is a perfect chance for the A-League to gain further recognition and promotion in an area untouched by top-level football.
?This is an ideal opportunity for football supporters and interested sport fans to see the nation?s top competition for football which they may not have been able to? said Fearnley.
Geoffrey Holland, General Manager of Dubbo RSL Club; the events major sponsor, is elated to be involved.
?Hosting these events is a highlight for Dubbo and a show-piece for football at a time when the sport is growing and gaining further support? said Holland.
Tickets for the match will be available from June 12th and can be purchased from Dubbo RSL Club on:
