Canak rising to the Stallions challenge
?I?m doing extra training to give myself every opportunity to make it and see how far I can go as I would like to play in the A-League and perhaps overseas one day.
?My aim is to become a full time professional so with the labouring market down at the present time it was a good opportunity to pursue this.?
Preferring the central or right attacking midfield role he has managed to get forward and score a few goals this season but says he is disappointed with the last few weeks in the TeleChoice Premier League: ?It has been disappointing as we have not played at our best or got the results our football has deserved but we are still in there and will give the final?s a real good shake.?
Formerly with Bonnyrigg White Eagles and Liverpool Bossy, Canak rates Steven Gerrard (Liverpool FC) as his favourite player, no just because he is one of the best in the world in this position but is the one he himself play in of course, and Red Star Belgrade his supported club and he dos hanker ideas of playing abroad: ?Of course it?s everyone?s dream to play overseas but I?m concentrating on making things happen with the Stallions first and foremost and if I can help in that department I?m sure the rest will take care of itself.
?I have the greatest respect for my coach, Lee Sterrey, and I have already learnt so much under him because he is a top class coach.
?He has put together a good side which will only get better and I am very happy to be playing my football here and getting a few goals this season is a bonus.
?Our immediate aim is to make the Top Five and then we?ll see where we end up.
?We?ve had our shaky patch for the season and are starting to get back to playing the football we know we can so it?s all go for the rest of the campaign.?
Canak is a single guy with no partner at the moment: ?I want to be a professional footballer and don?t want to be distracted by outside influences,? he laughs but one thing is for sure, if dedication to a sport means anything at all, this lad should go a very long way in football.
