Perth Glory snap up Matthew Mayora on six-week contract

Mayora has been successful in his bid to play A-League football after training with the Perth Glory squad this week.
Glory coach Dave Mitchell was impressed with Matthew and will include him in his squad which flies over to New Zealand this weekend to face the Wellington Phoenix.
Mayora did trial with Central Coast Mariners last season but was not successful in gaining a contract but 12 months on and Mayora is now in the A-League where many football followers in NSW believe is where he belongs.
When asked about his move to the A-League Mayora stated: ?I feel just great. I am very excited to have this opportunity to play in the A-League and would like to thank Perth Glory for giving me the opportunity to do so. I would also like to thank Sydney Olympic for supporting and believing in me and helping get to the next level.?
