Sydney United raise $10,540 for the Holdsworth Community Centre

The game against Sydney FC which attracted a healthy crowd of approximately 2,500 raised funds which assist the Holdsworth Community Centre who cater for children with disabilities.
The Holdsworth Community Centre will utilise the money; along with funds given to them by the NSW Sport and Recreation, to support a program called ?Bounce?, which assist children with their coordination skills.
Adam Krslovic was on hand to present the cheque to the Holdsworth Community Centre who were ecstatic about the initiative the TeleChoice Premier League club displayed.
Holdsworth Director Michael Ryan was delighted with Sydney United?s charitable approach in assisting them with funds for their program.
?I want to thank Sydney United for its incredible generosity in supporting the work of our centre with children with disabilities.
?I was overwhelmed by the amount of money that was raised at the game against Sydney FC and the club has really made our ?Bounce into life? program a reality.
?The partnership with Sydney United has also made a big difference in helping us to integrate everything we do with the general community.
?We hope it will be possible to continue this partnership in the future and look forward to following the fortunes of the club.?
Sydney United President Sam Krslovic was equally pleased in assisting with the Holdsworth Community Centre.
??Sometimes we get too caught in winning and losing and lose perspective on life and how challenging it can be.
?We decided instead of pocketing the proceeds of the Sydney FC game, to make a difference to the community, and what better way than helping children with disabilities.
?The $10,540 raised will allow Holdsworth to run their ?Bounce? program, which will assist these children in developing awareness and coordination skills, something that we in elite sport take for granted.?
Football NSW would like to acknowledge and congratulate Sydney United with its fantastic charity work as the TeleChoice Premier League was thanked greatly by the Holdsworth Community Centre.
