After a major review of the Club?s Technical Football Curriculum, The Board of Sydney United have engaged Mr Bajsic with the major task of delivering a comprehensive Football programme specifically aimed at developing and raising the Technical Competency for those players aged 8 to 15 in line with the criteria as established and outlined by FFA in its recently released National Football Curriculum.
To that end, Mr Bajsic has undertaken extensive study on various Brazilian, Dutch and Croatian Technical Models and intends to implement what he believes to be the best aspects of each of those Footballing Systems.
Regarding his appointment Davor made the following comments.
?First of all I would like to thank the Sydney United Board for giving me this opportunity and putting faith in my ability to overhaul the Club?s Technical Football Programme.
?Although I have only been in Australia a few years I am well aware of the Club?s proud history in producing Players that have gone on to represent the National teams at Youth and Senior Level.
“As I understand it the 90?s was a golden decade for the Club in terms of Player development and we must now try and recapture that spirit and passion once again in order to go to the next level.
?I look forward to the challenge?
