Keeping fit for the up and coming NSW Premier League season in 2010, Arrarte and Chronopoulos saw this as an ideal opportunity to exercise this and the duo made their debuts for the Fijian club in the opening O-League clash against Solomon Islands outfit Marist FC at Honiara?s Lawson Tama Stadium last weekend.
Around 15,000 fans turned out and witnessed Lautoka, who made their O-League debut, defeat Marist 3-1 with Arrarte getting on the scoresheet scoring the final goal in the 92nd minute which reiterated his seriousness about playing in the Oceania Champions League.
?A couple of weeks ago a representative from Lautoka FC rang me and was interested in recruiting me for the O-League competition.
?They saw me a couple of times in action with the Stallions this year and called me up to play in the IDC Tournament held in Nadi where crowds of up to twelve thousand turned out to every match.
?I impressed them there and they offered me the chance to play in the O-League which was a huge buzz.?
Both Stallions players? next match in the O-League is in Papua New Guinea on the 7th of November and their final game will be in Fiji on the 29th of November before resuming their careers with the Stallions for 2010.
