Allstars Crowned Club Champions!

The Allstars broke records left, right and centre this season, incredibly the Allstars had all 9 teams reach the semi finals. A competition first and had another record breaking 6 Minor Premiers allowing them to cruise their first Club Championship victory in the clubs sixth season by a whopping 45 point margin from their nearest rivals the Campelltown City Quake.
Quake have 6 semi final representatives with their female contingent leading the way with all 4 teams qualifying for the semi finals and winning the clubs 2 Premierships in the u/12g and Open Womens.
The Mascot Vipers who fought the Quake for the majority of the season for second position had a fantastic campaign finishing ahead of their more fancied rivals the Sydney City Eagles for 3rd place.
The Vipers even though without a Premiership were second only to the Allstars in semi final appearances with 7 of the clubs teams vying for end of season silverware.
The Eagles like the Vipers didn?t have a Premiership winning side but have a very respectable 5 teams playing in the final series with more than one of those able to take out the Championship.
With a significant gap from the top 4 the next club the was one of the new kids on the block Sydney Benfica. After the top 4 clubs Benfica have the highest number of semi finalists with 3 representatives in the Final series
Western Raiders were 6th and have 2 semi finalists both of whom finished second and must go into the finals series confident in their chances.
Newly promoted Dural Warriors survived the drop and occupied 7th position. The Warriors will have 2 teams representing them next week.
Unfortunately there has to be a club that faces the drop to the Super League and this season it is the Hawkesbury Commodores who struggled to find any momentum.
Hopefully for the Commodores, their 2 semi finalists the 12 boys and the 16 boys can give the Commodores faithful something to cheer about before the end of the season.
Good luck to all clubs playing semi finals this weekend at Menai Indoor Sports Stadium as there will be a drama filled evening of Futsal.
