ABC Sports will air a 1 hour packaged highlights of the Men?s and Women?s Finals held recently in Canberra.
NSW Lightning and Queensland National Champions
NSW Lightning were crowned men?s open champions at the FFA Futsal National Championships after an epic 4-2 Grand Final win over the ACT Cobras whilst Queensland claimed the women?s open title with a 3-1 victory over a more experienced ACT Cobras outfit at the AIS Arena.
The Lightning came from 1-0 down to complete a memorable end to the competition that threatened to derail them halfway through when they suffered three losses in quick succession.
In the women?s competition the Queensland youngsters played with a style and elegance that belied their tender years to wear down an older Cobras team.
