Pavlovic has played the entire season with the Jets? youth league side and has scored a couple of goals but coach Branko Culina gave the Croatian born striker his chance to experience senior football by playing a full match in the club?s 2-1 loss to the Reds at EnergyAustralia Stadium.
The 20-year-old was part of the West Sydney Berries setup in 2009 where he played with the club?s Grade 20 squad but then got his chance through senior coach John Calleja and played three matches in the NSW Premier League.
West Sydney Berries spokesperson Theo Mitrothanasis was delighted to have seen Pavlovic progress via the Football NSW system.
?It was great seeing Mirjan play a full ninety minute match with the Jets last week as it put more virtue to the fact that the development cycle is working via the NSW Premier League clubs and their youth systems.
?Mirjan was a leading player in the Grade 20?s side for the Berries and then caught the attention of our senior coach before he won himself some game time at first grade level.
?Mirjan is a hard worker and the club is confident that he will see more success and that we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.?
