Rockdale City Suns moved swiftly in recruiting former talented Bonnyrigg White Eagles midfielder Steven Bozinovski and ex-Penrith Nepean United goalkeeper Chad Taylor for the rest of the NSW Premier League season.
The club has since parted company with keeper Angelo Kosmatos who mutually agreed with the Suns to terminate his contract.
Rockdale were taught a harsh lesson by 2009 NSW Premier League Premiers Sydney United in the club?s opening fixture for 2010 with a 4-1 loss at the Sydney United Sports Centre.
Suns coach Mile Todoroski was disappointed with the outcome and was not impressed after the club?s first NSW Premier League match.
?We came into the NSW Premier League from the NSW Super League and we understand we have a lot of work to do.
?Against Sydney United we weren?t focused in defence and they took advantage of that.?
Todoroski?s cause was not helped when the club went down to ten men after defender Saso Trajcevski received his second yellow card at the commencement of the second half.
The likes of Bozinovski and Taylor will no doubt bring some much needed NSW Premier League experience to the squad as they prepare for their crunch clash against Bankstown City FC.
Bozinovski returned to the Suns after playing with the likes of the Marconi Stallions, A.P.I.A.-Leichhardt Tigers as well as playing abroad in Belgium with K.V. Oostende and Serbia with Radnicki.
The 28-year-old was also part of the Bankstown City FC set-up in 1998 before moving to the Suns in 1999.
While Taylor was a former NSW Premier League keeper with Penrith Nepean United before playing with FC Bossy Liverpool in the Super League in 2009 where he assisted in the club?s fight against relegation.
