?Hungry? Parisi enjoying his football at the Tigers

The crafty attacker has always been viewed as one of the best talents in the NSW Premier League and his form has blossomed in the last couple of weeks with the Tigers slowly creeping into finals series contention.
Parisi believes that this recent run of good form was coming and that team harmony paved the way for their current success.
?I would have to say that our recent run of good results has been coming.
?The team harmony has been great and now you see each member fighting for each other and their desires have increased in wanting to win at all costs.
?All the players are giving more than 100% and this is showing with our displays on the pitch.
?I know that amongst the senior players we?ve pulled together in making this happen and we will concentrate on consolidating this form as the weeks go by.?
One factor that has come to the equation of the Tigers? recent success has been that of the inclusion of temporary coach Billy McColl.
?Billy has been excellent for us; he has really relaxed the camp and has been great value.
?He?s put on great training sessions and has really livened up the side.?
A lot has also been spoken about The Tigers? new Japanese import Hirofuni Moriyasu who has taken the league by storm and has caught the attention of many football fans in the NSW Premier League.
?Hiro has been an excellent acquisition to our squad as firstly he is technically brilliant and secondly he has been able to adapt to the physical nature of the NSW Premier League.
?I remember one of our first training sessions Marton Vass went through him and Hiro stood his ground and continued to play on, he has fitted in very well with all the players and has given us another option in midfield.?
Parisi?s performances have also been one to watch out for in 2010 as his ability to distribute in the attacking third of the pitch as well as his dribbling skills have seen him rise as one of the best in the business in the NSW Premier League.
?Personally I have been quite content with how things have gone but I have felt that when the team is playing well so am I.
?It was tough at the start when things weren?t going our way as it affected the players but at the moment playing football couldn?t be better, I know I have a smile on my face each time I play and that can only be a good sign.
?I really feel that I have found my feet and drive in 2010 and I feel like I am a different player.
?I can say that I am hungrier than I have ever been and I?m loving every minute of playing and this is shown in the games I have played.?
Being only three points outside of the top five, Parisi hopes that he can partake in this year?s finals series as well as continuing to play good football.
?I would love to lead the team into the finals as I am very confident that if we do get a spot we will certainly give it a good shake up.
?I also want to continue playing solid football as well as leading by example as captain of the club in getting three points on a regular basis.?
Parisi had many reasons to celebrate this week as he celebrated his 27th birthday with a crucial victory over Bankstown City FC in their round 10 clash but hopes he can notch up a goal in what will be a tough encounter against the South Coast Wolves this Sunday at WIN Stadium.
?I would love to celebrate this week with a goal but I would of course take the three points over this any day.
?If results go our way and we can defeat the Wolves then we may find ourselves in the top five.
?To us this weekend?s match against the Wolves is like a Grand Final as it is the last game of this entire round and we want to finish it on a high. We want to start round two off in a positive fashion next week and will look to build on what we did in the latter stages of round one.?
One added responsibility Franco had listed for this season was that he was given the honour of captaining the squad which he has since thrived on.
?It?s not so much an added responsibility but an added role in my game. I am glad that I have great guys in front of me who make things a lot easier to lead but I do understand that the way I lead the side reflects on everyone else.?
