Tiana Phillips winner of the inaugural hummel WPL Player of the Week award

Southern Branch has had a difficult debut season in the Premier League but last Sunday proved to be a big day for them when they scored their first win of 2010.
Tiana was actually a member of the Under 16 squad at Southern Branch but, like so many of her team mates this season, she has been drafted in to assist in first grade on many occasions.
Last Sunday Tiana started Sunday?s game as a defensive midfielder but was forced to go into goals for when the score was at 1-1 after an injury to the only Southern Branch keeper available on the day.
Tiana made several important saves to keep her team in the game and make a major contribution to Southern Branch?s first victory in the Arrive Alive Women?s Premier League.
