Balmain SC ? Stanmore Hawks
5-00pm, Saturday, July 31 @ Lambert Park
Balmain will be hoping to return to the winner?s list when they host Stanmore Hawks in an Inner West derby on Saturday afternoon.
No points and no goals from a couple of games last week would not have made Balmain coach, Alex Kaltenegger, too happy, but the Hawks need the three points to stay in touch with the top five, so you can expect a tight clash in this one.
Schofields Scorpions ? Hills Brumbies
7-00pm, Saturday, July 31 @ CSI Sport Ground
Schofields grabbed a late goal and subsequent draw last time they met Hills Brumbies, so another point here against the league leaders would be very welcome indeed.
But the Brumbies will have an eye on the minor premiership trophy, so they won?t need any motivation on their visit to the CSI Sport Ground.
Mounties Wanderers ? Blacktown Spartans
7-00pm, Saturday, July 31 @ Cook Park
Mounties will no doubt be out for revenge against Blacktown Spartans on Saturday evening, having been on the wrong end of a 1-5 drubbing when the two sides met in the first round.
The Wanderers are also scrapping for a semi final spot for added motivation, but will no doubt find the Spartans a formidable opponent in this blockbuster at Cook Park.
Gladesville Ryde Magic ? Inter Lions
3-00pm, Sunday, August 1 @ Magdala Reserve
Inter Lions dropped two valuable points in last week?s scoreless draw against Camden, and as a result dropped out of the top five.
The Lions will be wary of Gladesville Ryde Magic in this potential banana skin, having succumbed 1-2 in the first round, and will be out to square the ledger on Sunday afternoon.
Fairfield City Lions ? Hurstville ZFC
3-00pm, Sunday, August 1@ Norford Park No.2
The first round clash between these sides gave Hurstville their solitary victory of the 2010 season, proving you can never underestimate your opponent.
But Fairfield have hit some great form in recent weeks, and will be focused on winning and winning well as they look to keep the pressure on Hills right until the end of the competition.
Camden Tigers ? UNSW
3-00pm, Sunday, August 1@ Ron Dine Reserve
Camden Tigers and UNSW meet on Sunday afternoon in a match that neither side have to much to play for, except pride.
With boths teams struggling for goals, a repeat of the first round 1-1 draw could well be on the cards again at Ron Dine Reserve.
