Division One Youth League Round 22 Review
All are worthy of the highest congratulations because they have helped to maintain a very high standard of competition.
The Youth League Report will continue throughout the finals series and then, in the week following the Grand Finals, we will look back on the season and review the performance of every club and every team.
Club Championship
After leading the way for most of the season Fraser Park finished at the top of the table. They collected ten points from this week?s matches against second placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers, just as they had in the first round.
Camden Tigers finished third after they had the bye this week.
Stanmore Hawks are placed fourth following their matches against fifth placed St George where the points were split at six apiece. The Saints had taken nine points from the first round encounter.
Gladesville Ryde Magic are placed sixth after they pocketed ten points from their clash with ninth placed Southern Branch who had taken nine points when the clubs met last time.
Seventh placed Hakoah bagged nine points when they faced tenth placed Hills Brumbies with whom the first round points had been shared at seven apiece.
Hurstville City Minotaurs are eighth and Springwood United are eleventh after the clubs took seven points each from their meeting. The mountain men had taken nine points last time the clubs faced each other.
Grade 13
Mt Druitt Town Rangers had already been crowned Premiers when they suffered a 1-0 loss to third placed Fraser Park who the Rangers had beaten 3-1 last time they met.
Stanmore Hawks finished in second spot after they came up with a 3-0 win over fifth placed St George. The first round match was a 2-2 draw.
Gladesville Ryde Magic are fourth following their 1-0 success over eighth placed Southern Branch who had claimed the first round points with a 2-0 result.

Seventh placed Hills Brumbies produced a 4-0 result over tenth placed Hakoah after the first round clash ended in a 1-1 draw.
Hurstville City Minotaurs are eleventh after they completed the season with their first win of the campaign, a 1-0 result over ninth placed Springwood United who had won the first round encounter by exactly the same scoreline.
Grade 14
Mt Druitt Town Rangers are the Premiers after they produced a 1-0 win over Hakoah in a Round 20 catch-up game and then lost 2-1 to fourth placed Fraser Park. In first round matches the Rangers had beaten Hakoah 2-0 while they had gone down 1-0 to Fraser Park.
Hurstville City Minotaurs finished second after they came up with a 1-0 victory over eleventh placed Springwood United who the Minotaurs had beaten 2-1 in the first round.
Southern Branch are third following their 1-0 success over Gladesville Ryde Magic who slipped back one place to tenth. That completes the double for Southern after they had won the first round clash 4-2.
Fifth placed St George were held to a 1-1 draw by Stanmore Hawks who climbed two places to sixth. The Saints had taken the first round points with a 2-0 result.

Tenth placed Hills Brumbies completed the double when they were 3-1 winners over ninth placed Hakoah who had gone down 2-1 when the teams met in the first round.
Grade 15
Hakoah claimed the title of Premiers when they were 6-0 winners over Mt Druitt Town Rangers in a Round 20 catch-up match and then they produced a 3-1 victory over ninth placed Hills Brumbies on Saturday. Earlier in the season Hakoah had beaten the Rangers 3-0 and the Brumbies 2-0.
Second placed Stanmore Hawks were held to a 2-2 draw by seventh placed St George who had claimed the first round points with a 1-0 result.
Fraser Park are placed third following their 1-0 victory over tenth placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers after the first round encounter had finished in a 3-3 draw.
Gladesville Ryde Magic finished fourth after they were held to a 1-1 draw by eighth placed Southern Branch who had taken the first round points with a 5-1 win.
Springwood United climbed one place to fifth when they were 2-1 winners over eleventh placed Hurstville City Minotaurs who the mountain men had beaten 5-0 the first time around.

Grade 16

Fraser Park were in second position when they were held to a 1-1 draw by third placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers who had lost the first round clash by a 1-0 scoreline.
Hurstville City Minotaurs are fourth following their 2-0 loss to Springwood United who climbed one spot to fifth. Springwood have now completed the double as they were 4-2 winners in the first round.

Eighth placed Hakoah came up with a 3-1 victory over tenth placed Hills Brumbies who had taken the first round points with a 1-0 result.
Gladesville Ryde Magic are ninth after they finished with a 2-1 success over eleventh placed Southern Branch and that completes the double for Magic after they won the first round match by exactly the same scoreline.
Grade 18

Gladesville Ryde Magic finished second after they posted a solid 6-0 result over eleventh placed Southern Branch who Magic had beaten 13-0 the first time around.
Fraser Park are third following their 3-0 loss to Mt Druitt Town Rangers who had lost the first round clash 4-2. The Rangers claimed fifth place when they added this result to their 3-1 success over Hakoah in a Round 20 catch-up match.
Fourth placed St George posted a 2-1 result over seventh placed Stanmore Hawks after the teams had played out a 2-2 first round draw.
Hakoah are sixth after they came up with a 2-0 victory over ninth placed Hills Brumbies who Hakoah had beaten 3-1 when they faced each other in the first round.
Hurstville City Minotaurs are eighth and Springwood United are tenth after the teams battled out a 2-2 draw.
