North West Sydney Women’s football Grand Final Day

Teams from our Under 7s, 8s and 9s played exhibition matches all day, and had their participation trophies presented by Leena Khamis and Kyah Simon, from Sydney FC?s W-League side.
Also presenting trophies on the day, were Jim Forest, President Football NSW, and Cr Michael Butterworth, Major City of Ryde.
Putney Tennyson Bowling Club were the most successful side on the day, winning Over 35s, All Age 2, and All Age 1s.
All Age 1s is always a struggle between Epping YMCA, and Putney-this year Epping won the Premiership, but Putney won through for the Grand Final win.
The 2010 Club Championship was won by Ryde Saints United.
To cap off a great day, the NWS Koalas were also successful in winning the Arrive Alive Under 16 women?s Premier League Grand Final, at Balls Paddock, Woonona.
