Stingrays off to fly the Arrive Alive Women?s Premier League flag interstate
On Saturday the Illawarra girls go up against W League outfit Adelaide United in what should be an absorbing match up. The following day the Stingrays will back up against an FFSA State side; providing another stern test for the NSW women?s football powerhouse.
The Stingrays go into the game missing a couple of the 2010 season?s stars with Lindsay Glohe having signed with Canberra for the off season whilst midfielder Trudy Camilleri is unavailable due to work commitments.
Coach Brett Wallin has his team firing on all cylinders after their recent loss to Sydney FC?s W-League side in a high profile ?friendly?. Good results during the trip to Adelaide may also further Illawarra?s case for inclusion in the W League in the near future.
Good luck to the Stingrays in both their matches.
