Football NSW General Meeting
The interim board is charged with overseeing structural reform of Football NSW.
Vice-President Robert Sestan acknowledged, on behalf of the members Jim Forrest?s contribution and commitment to the game over a long time. Mr Sestan further said he was looking forward to a collaborative approach with the game?s stakeholders. ?The hard work begins today?, Sestan acknowledged.
FFA Chief Executive Ben Buckley also acknowledged the substantial involvement and time given by Jim Forrest to the sport.
Mr Buckley said ?today was an important step for Football NSW and reform generally. I look forward to working closely with Football NSW?.
Football NSW General Manager Ian Holmes said ?the process of restructure is a necessary part of the evolution of any organisation. There is a strong commitment to work in partnership with FFA. The focus will be to deliver the best outcome for the future of the game in this state as part of the national football network.?
