Ufuk Talay signs for Sydney United
The 34-year-old announced his retirement from the Hyundai A-League this year after playing 33 matches for the now defunct Fury ? Talay signed a two-year deal with the club and was named captain in 2011.
Talay has played for numerous clubs throughout his illustrious career which included Avispa Fukuoka, Gaziantepspor, Bursaspor and Galatasaray to name a few.
It was his early beginnings as a Marconi Stallions player though that commenced his footballing career in 1992 which spearheaded him to Europe.
Talay?s signing joins two other former A-League stars in Mark Rudan (Sydney United) and Sasho Petrovski (South Coast Wolves) making 2011 a huge year for the NSW Premier League.
Sydney United take on Manly United on Sunday the 27th of March at Sydney United Sports Centre.
