Wolves legends ignite season launch

A captivated audience listened to the legends from the finals recalling the nail-biting 3-3 draw against Perth Glory and the subsequent winning penalty shoot-out.
You could hear a pin drop as the young Wolves players from thirteen years of age through to the current First Grade squad listened in awe as the older players and coaches told their on-field and off-field stories from the winning finals.
Then 2011 Coach Trevor Morgan introduced the new squad and spoke of his belief  that this year Wolves had the skill and ability for a finals berth. A good mix of talented younger players and the experience of players such as Saso Petrovski, Jacob Timpano and Lawrence Drake would be a winning combination.
The night ended with an auction highlighted by a signed Grand Final Wolves shirt which went for nearly $2500, plus items such as a signed Socceroo shirt, Harry Kewell and Tim Cahill balls and a Mark Scwarzer signed shirt.
A spectacular night and we wish all teams junior and senior good luck for 2011 ? have a great season.
