Under 13/14’s Development Program
The Football NSW Development program is the official player pathway for both boys and girls aged 7-14 years. Football NSW have designed an intensive development program aimed at both boys and girls aged 7?14 years in which players can train regularly with FNSW highly experienced and qualified staff in conjunction with their club team.
Our qualified and experienced instructors will create a positive learning environment in which players can development the necessary skills for footballing success. Our instructors work through a yearly periodised plan which can be viewed at www.globalfootballsystem.com. Focus is on developing effective game skill and game intelligence.
The program consists of 1 session per week in-season. This will allow players to train with FNSW and still train and compete with their chosen clubs. The Academy program is aimed at mirroring the Project22 program in that players train between 3-4 sessions per week and play weekly games in conjunction with both FNSW and their club commitments. This is the necessary yearly training load that is required in order for players to compete professionally as adults. This is consistent with many of the top Academy programs elsewhere in the world.
Training nights – Tuesday or Thursday nights (depending on which night has the most interest)
Training time – 6:30pm ? 8:00pm
Training Venue ? Valentine Sports Park (VSP)
Start Date ? Tuesday 3rd May or Thursday 5th May 2011
Cost ? $160.00 (8 x 1.5 hour sessions x $20.00)
