Review of football in NSW

The purpose of the review is to conduct enquires and report on appropriate governance structures that will enhance the growth and development of the game in NSW.
The Board of Football NSW has circulated the final terms of reference to its members.
Football NSW invites all interested parties to make submissions on any matters covered by the terms of reference A1 to A6, by 5pm 30th April 2011.
Football NSW are not inviting submissions on the terms of reference relating to Riverstone, as the Board needs to do more research on this project and get a better understanding of it before seeking your views.

Terms of Reference
Purpose of Review
The purpose of the review is to conduct enquiries and report on the appropriate governance structures including the administration and management of football in NSW that will enhance the growth and development of the game and its participants within the national framework.
Scope of Review
To achieve the above purpose the Review will make enquiries and report on the following aspects relating to the administration, promotion, growth and development of the game in NSW:
Part A

Football NSW?s strategic priorities, within the national framework and in accordance with the National Charter and alignment of its administrative and organisational structure with those priorities.

The governance structure of Football NSW ? specifically constitutional and electoral processes and structures.

Relations and communications with Key Stakeholders including participants, Football NSW Members, FFA and NSW Government and Councils.

The cost and affordability of playing football in NSW including fees, insurance etc.

The financial position of Football NSW including its capacity to resource an appropriate level of growth in NSW.

The delivery of high performance/technical programs as part of the national football development plan particularly in relation to the national curriculum.
