Dural_Warriors


The Dural Warriors have put together a great new Futsal vs Football series, with some serious money on offer for teams.
In a nutshell, 10 matches, free entry, with the winner of each individual match walking away with $2,000.00.
OBJECTIVES
The three primary objectives are to:
?         Give Futsal players the best chance to qualify for the AFC Championships in 2011 and then to qualify for the FIFA World Cup in 2012.
?         To expose football clubs to the value of Futsal.
?         Establish Futsal as a recognised indoor sport in Australia.
Secondary objectives are to:
?         To provide opportunities for the selection of National team players.
?         Establish a relatively lost cost method of enabling futsal players to be financially rewarded for their efforts.
?         Build a ?Marketable Product? so that opportunities for Sponsorships, Television exposure are given a solid foundation for the future.
FORMAT
?         Home team is the Dural Warriors Men?s team.
?         Venue is the Dural Sport and Leisure Centre, Pellitt Lane Dural.
?         Season from April ? August 2011.
?         10 matches to be scheduled.
?         Matches to be held on Wednesdays at 8.30pm.
?         FIFA Futsal Laws of the Game ?International rules? will apply to all matches with the exception that only 3 referees to be used instead of 4.

?         A pool of $20,000.00 to be established at the start of the competition.
?         Football Clubs from the NSW State League Division 2, 1 and Super League and Premier League to be invited to compete against the Dural Warriors for a match prize money of $2,000.00 for a win during regulation time.
?         Football Clubs can apply for a challenge match at no cost. If more Football Clubs enter than are available matches, entries will be drawn from lots.
?         Closing date for entries to be 4 April 2011. All successful clubs will be notified of their match date by the 8 April 2011. All successful clubs must forward a refundable deposit of $500.00 in the form of a cheque to guarantee their appearance on the match date. Upon appearance on the match date with a minimum number of 7 players, the cheque will be returned.
?         If a club wishes to be guaranteed a match, an entry fee of $500.00 to be paid. At the conclusion of the match, the winning team will be awarded the $2,000.00.
?         Should more than 10 Football Clubs wish to be guaranteed a match, than challenges will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
?         If a match is drawn, the entry fee will be returned to the challenging Club. The Dural Warriors team will be awarded $1,000.00.
?         There will be no spectator admission fees. However, golden coin donations will be sought and will be donated to a registered charity.
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
?         Players must be registered with Football New South Wales and be currently financial.
?         For the Challenging team, only players registered to play for the Football Club for the 2011 season to be eligible.
?         No card, no play
REFEREES
?         Referees will be registered with Football New South Wales Referees Association.
