This illustrates Football NSW?s ongoing commitment to ensuring football remains a more affordable sport.
Along with the playing fees announcement, a 12 month Accident Support Program will once again follow on where footballers registered through MyFootballClub for winter football, who engage in sanctioned Futsal and Summer Football, will be automatically covered by the Accident Support Program.
Student rates will be applied once more for 2013, with full time students over the age of 18 to be given a 19% discount on the corresponding adult Football NSW capitation fees.
In maintaining fees at 2012 rates, Football NSW is absorbing the standard increases associated with cost of living.
All fees include Football Federations Australia?s (FFA) MyFootballClub access ? which enables participants to register for their local club online via the MyFootballClub website (www.myfootballclub.com.au).
Football NSW CEO Eddie Moore was pleased that capitation fees were not increased for 2013 and was full of praise for the Board in following through with a key commitment made to the Football NSW membership during the review process.
?The cost of football remains a primary concern which the Football NSW Board and membership agreed needed to be addressed in a review of the 2012 football season.
?Football gives players in Optus Small Sided Football programs right through to the Over 45?s the opportunity to interact and train twice a week and play in a safe environment on the weekend throughout the winter months.
?Football NSW will continue to work with all Clubs and Associations across the state to provide the necessary resources and support to continue to build the football family, increasing our investments in coach education, schools programs and broader game development programs.?
