Football United a roaring success at Valentine Sports Park

The tournament involved 30 teams from:
- Lurnea Intensive English Centre and High School
- Evans Intensive English Centre and High School (Blacktown)
- Miller Technology Intensive English Centre and High SchoolHolroyd
- Fairfield Intensive English Centre and High School
- Granville South Creative and Performing Arts High School
- James Meehan High School (Macquarie Fields)
- Airds High School
Present at the event was Sydney FC captain Terry McFlynn, W-League players Danielle Brogan and Leena Khamis as well as the General Manager of Community and Game Development, Stefan Kamasz.
Also present was Western Sydney Wanderers Youth League players Nicholas Olsen and Jack Green, as well as W-League representatives Louise Fors and Thora Helgadottir.
Government Minister Mr John Robertson, the Member for Blacktown, was also in attendance on what was a hugely successful day played in great spirit.

Senior Boys Final: Lurnea defeated Miller 6-0

Junior B Boys Final: Fairfield A defeated Fairfield B 2-1 on pens, full time score 2-2
