AUDIO: Markovic ready to take on childhood club
It will be a day of mixed emotions for Sydney Olympic new recruit Petar Markovic.
The fleet footed midfielder will this Sunday afternoon tackle his former club of 19 seasons, Sydney United 58, at Lily Homes Stadium in what will be an emotional game for Markovic.
Football NSW Media Manager Mark Stavroulakis caught up with Markovic and asked him his thoughts on the up and coming clash against the Reds as well as how he has viewed the club’s fortunes thus far, comments on his coach Peter Tsekenis and how far Sydney Olympic will go in this season’s competition.
