Macarthur Association celebrates 30 years
The Macarthur Football Association celebrated its 30 year anniversary with a successful season launch on Thursday 4th April at the Camden Lakeside Country Club.
All existing life members along with State members Jai Rowell, Chris Patterson, Bryan Doyle and Federal Member Russell Matheson were all on hand to celebrate their support of the largest football code in the district.
Football NSW Chariman Greg O’Rourke as well as Football NSW CEO Eddie Moore also attended the event with the Chairman giving a rousing speech about grassroots and community football.
What also assisted in the evening was the representation of all 24 clubs as all were in attendance for the formal season “kick off” in what promises to be one of the most memorable yet at Macarthur.
