Cheryl Salisbury Cup 2013 ready for take off
The Cheryl Salisbury Cup is ready for take-off as the tournament kicks off on Tuesday 9th of July across a four day event at Blacktown Football Park.
This Cheryl Salisbury Cup tournament plays an integral in the women’s football calendar yearly as it is part of the Talent Identification Program for Under 12 Girls and has attracted entries from Women’s Premier and State clubs as well as the Sutherland Association and Gladesville Ravens.
The Cup is named in honour of Cheryl Salisbury.
Football NSW acknowledges Cheryl as Australia’s all-time highest capped player with 147 appearances and is Australia’s highest international goalscorer of all time with 36 goals.
The teams taking part in the sixth year of the Cheryl Salisbury Cup have been placed into four groups, they are as follows:
