National honours for NSW Youngsters

Nine New South Wales born youngsters have been selected to take part in an U17 Australian training camp at the AIS in Canberra.

Football NSW Institute players Ricardo Bernardino, Gian Mendez, Kosta Petratos, Daniel Maskin, Zac Speth, Caio De Godoy, Jackson Bandiera, Joe Caletti and Perry Fotakopoulos were all selected to take part in the up and coming training camp.

This weekend’s camp is the final training camp before the 2013 ASEAN Football Federation U16 Championships in Myanmar, 20^th August – 2^nd September. Former Socceroo defender and now U17’s head coach Tony Vidmar will have the opportunity to run his eyes on all proceedings and finalise his squad ahead of the tournament.

The training camp commences on the 2^nd August and concludes on the 4^th.
