IGA NPL NSW Grade 20s Finals Series Round 2 Preview

The pointy end of the season is here.
APIA-Leichhardt and Blacktown City are playing to keep their seasons alive on Saturday afternoon, whilst on Sunday, Marconi Stallions and Rockdale City Suns are bidding to be the first team into the Grand Final.
SATURDAY
APIA-Leichhardt Tigers vs Blacktown City FC, 4.30pm at Seymour Shaw Park
APIA-Leichhardt Tigers went down to Rockdale City Suns in a curious match last weekend.
APIA should have been out of sight by half time, but they spurned chance after chance and were stung by the Suns, who eventually ran away 3-1.
Blacktown City faced an Elimination Final against Blacktown Spartans and they responded to the test, leading 2-0 and looking comfortable, before winning 2-1 after Spartans pulled a late goal back.
That result pitches them into another sudden death match this week and they will probably go in as underdogs against the classy APIA-Leichhardt outfit.
SUNDAY
Marconi Stallions vs Rockdale City Suns, 1pm at Cromer Park
Premiers Marconi Stallions will be fresh after their week off and they will be ready to do battle with Rockdale City Suns.
Rockdale shook off a slow start to beat APIA-Leichhardt and they will need to fire earlier if they are to make a match of things against Marconi.
Stallions was the most impressive side over the regular season and will be looking to qualify for the Grand Final in the quickest possible manner, with a win here.
