IGA National Premier Leagues NSW Mens 1 Champions Bonnyrigg White Eagles have confirmed that Coach Brian “Bomber” Brown will again take charge of the club in the 2014 season.

Regarded as one of the most successful and respected coaches in the competition, Brown will look towards strengthening his squad for the new year in a bid to claim a second successive title for the White Eagles.

Under Brown’s coaching over the last five seasons, the Eagles have won Premierships in 2010 and 2012 along with winning the Championship this season.

The Scotsman stated to the Fairfield Champion that the club has managed to re-sign a number of players that were part of this year’s squad which indicated his delight with his group this season.

“We have re-signed all the players that played a big part in this year’s success, all the ones we wanted to keep.

“The only ones we have not kept are players who were on the fringe of making the top grade.

“We are expecting younger players like Aaron Peterson, Jordan Crighton, Nikola Todoroski to be regular first team starters next year.

“So this will keep our current players working very hard to keep their spot in the team.”
