NSW Metro is the new Under-14 national champions following a brilliant showing at the 2013 FFA National Youth Championship for Boys in Coffs Harbour.
The side narrowly beat out local rivals NSW Country to give NSW a unique one-two on the podium.
It was a sensational tournament for the U-14 Metro side scoring 19 goals across six games.
The outfit’s success even extended to individual honour with Daniel Arzani claiming the player of the tournament title.
A remarkable run of performances saw individual honours claimed in the U-13’s age group as well with Ramy Najjarine of NSW Metro also winning his age categories player of the tournament award.
Najjarine’s U-13 Metro team finished a respectable second behind an unstoppable Football west side.
NSW Country U-13’s finished the competition in fourth position in Group B.
