Blacktown Football Park will play host to the FFA and Football NSW Annual Coaching Conference to be held across two days on the 23rd and 24th of November catering for both Advanced and Community Football coaches.

The Annual Coaching Conference will provide an insightful view for all participants involved from both elite and grassroots levels with the agenda incorporating both theory and practical sessions with a strong focus on the FFA National Curriculum as well as planning and delivering a quality training environment.

The National Football Curriculum is a long term plan, aimed at realizing the necessary changes and improvements required, to produce the best players and to create a coach development system that produces quality coaches that are able to bring the curriculum to life to achieve these objectives.

Other session presentations will also see topics such as Football Conditioning, FFA’s Vision on Coach Education, Skills Acquisition Program and Optus Small Sided Football discussed on the day by qualified and accredited FFA and Football NSW instructors.

The two-day format is tailored so that both community and advanced content is covered in detail.

Football NSW Coach Education Manager Oscar Gonzalez promoted that this is an event not to be missed by all coaches interested in up-skilling themselves.

“This certainly presents itself as an ideal opportunity to assist and further educate all our coaches with theoretical and practical workshops.

“The great aspect about this conference is that it’s tailored towards both the Community and Advanced coaches making this an event unique and not to be missed.”
