Courageous FNSW NTC fall at last hurdle
Football NSW NTC went down fighting in its Finals match against FFV NTC in the FFA NTC Challenge after the game was locked at 0-0 the match was decided on penalties with the Sky Blues losing out 3-2 on penalties at the AIS.
It was a fantastic effort by Craig Foster and his talented squad who were recorded as the youngest team in the entire tournament as they finished second on the overall ladder.
There was still reason to celebrate for several team members of the FNSW NTC squad as Daniel Maskin, Joe Caletti, Peter Kekeris, Solomon Monahan-Vaiika, Daniel Arzani, Henry Davies and Malcolm Ward were all selected in the 2013 FFA NTC Challenge Allstars team that took on the FFV NTC in a special match on Saturday 7th December.
As well as the rising young stars achievements, the team also took out the bonus points ladder for showcasing the best style of play throughout the tournament which was a massive coup.
Football NSW would like to congratulate the team on a fantastic effort in what was a pulsating tournament.
