State Cups ready for take off
A healthy number of teams are all but set to take part in the historic Football NSW State Cup with Round 1 kicking off on Sunday 1st of May with the finals set for Sunday 17th of July to be played at Valentine Sports Park.
As many as 533 teams (373 male and 160 female) will line up across all various age groups from Boys/Men to Girls/Women in what will be a huge year for the prestigious Association Cup competition state-wide.
The famous Bill Cullinan All Age Men Preliminary Rounds will take shape on Sunday 1st May with 73 clubs from 15 Associations competing while in a huge plus for 2016, the 12 Boys Frank Broughton Cup category has risen to 51 entries while in the 21 Robertson Cup, 24 teams will take part.
The 12 Girls Cheryl Salisbury Cup will also feature 33 clubs in 2016, nine more than who participated in 2015.
With football being played across NSW, there has been a strong representation of Country teams taking part in this year’s State Cups.

Preliminary Round – 1st May 2016 – All Age Men Bill Cullinan Cup
Round 1 – 8th May 2016 – 12 Boys Frank Broughton Cup, 13, 14, 15, 16 Boys and 12 Girls Cheryl Salisbury Cup, 14, 16 Girls and All Age Women
Round 2 – 22 May 2016 – 17 Boys, 18 Men, 21 Men Robertson Cup, Over 35 Men
Round 3 – 5 June 2016 – 18 Women
