COMMUNITY FOOTBALL REFEREES COORDINATOR
Football NSW are seeking to appoint a Community Football Referees Coordinator.
This position will assist in developing and delivering education and materials to Referees and Referee Branches.
It will also involve in aiding the facilitation of education of Referees, Assessors and Branch Coaches by improving their skills through fitness and knowledge of the laws of the game.
The successful applicant will also be responsible for identifying talented match officials and providing set pathways and overseeing the coordination of training sessions for Referees, Assessors, Branch Coaches and Schools.
*Service and maintain excellent relationships with all Referee Branches and Associations
*Identify and recruit Referees from schools and Football Associations
*Administer with the running of Level 3 and 4 Referee courses for schools, Referee Branches and FNSW online platforms
*Identify Schools to be part of the FNSW Schools program
*Assisting with the running of Level 3 Assessor course for Referee Branches
*Identifying and recommending talented match officials to the Referees Development & Education Manager
*Produce and provide educational material to Referees and Branches as required
*Engaging with Associations and Clubs on recruitment
*Identifying and recommending talented referees for the RDP and FNSW Referee Academy
*Attending Referee Branch meetings
*Delivering education sessions
*Attending matches and providing reports
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
*Must hold a minimum Level 3 Referee qualification
*Experience in delivering education and training sessions
*Competent in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service
*Ability to resolve problems and manage disputes
*Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
*Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks within defined time frames
*Ability to take the initiative and consider ways to further improve refereeing standards across FNSW
