We clock over into double digits in the National Premier Leagues 3 NSW Men’s competition with round 10 fast approaching.

You read it correctly! We are coming up to the tenth round of the NPL 3 NSW Men’s season. Like every week in this competition, this round is bound not to disappoint as we examine all the fixtures coming our way.

Round 10 kicks off at Pluim Park with Central Coast United FC playing host to Gladesville Ryde Magic at 5pm.

The Pirates will be riding high entering this fixture after they dispatched of Dulwich Hill 2-1 last weekend.

Meanwhile, Magic showed their resilience after they reversed a 2-0 score line to snatch a 5-2 win over the Rams.

It also marked a long-awaited return to the scoresheet for Michael Gaitatzis who registered a hat trick upon his return to action.

Bankstown United FC will be aiming to build upon last weekend’s impressive performance as they welcome Sydney University SFC to Jensen Park at 6:30pm.

Last weekend could turn out to be a pivotal point in United’s campaign as they saw off the undefeated Lions 2-1.

They are sitting in a comfortable fifth position on the ladder and could potentially make their way into the top four if they beat Uni and results fall in their favour elsewhere.

Heading to Arlington Oval where Dunbar Rovers FC will be looking to string together back-to-back wins for the first time this season when they meet Inner West Hawks FC at 7pm.

A first win in three weeks came as welcome relief for the eastern suburbs side as they look to turn around their campaign after what can only be described as a slow start by their standards.

Their upcoming opponents however are in an even worse predicament as they continue to prop up the ladder with the gap between them and 11th place continuing to grow.

Dulwich Hill FC will be looking to respond from a recent slump when they hit the road to take on Macarthur Rams FC at Lynwood Park with kick off scheduled for 7pm.

We could be treated to some goals in this match with both clubs having made a habit of hitting the net on more than one occasion throughout their respective games this season.

They will both be looking to recover from what were two disappointing round nine results with Rams forfeiting a 2-0 lead at Christie Park while Dully were beaten up the coast.

All eyes will be on Bankstown City FC as they look to retain top spot when they face off against Inter Lions FC at Majors Bay Reserve with kick off set for 7pm.

Bankstown travel to Concord with a slim two-point lead at the top of the table but they are in the form of their lives with three straight wins to show for their efforts

Meanwhile, their hosts have also hit a bit of a purple patch with two wins on the bounce which has seen them restore their hopes of finals football.

A second clean sheet of the season last time out against Uni will act as a real boost ahead of Saturday’s meeting.

Rydalmere Park will be the venue for Rydalmere Lions’ encounter with Canterbury Bankstown with proceedings set to get underway from 7pm.

The Berries will be hoping that they have caught Rydalmere at the right time given that they just suffered their first defeat of the season.

This match will play out one of two ways. Rydalmere will punish Berries to atone for last week’s loss or Berries will inflict further damage on Gavin Rae’s side as they condemn them to two defeats on the bounce.
