The Allstars came close in the opening exchanges with Marie Svinos playing in Sam Bergin but her shot went just wide and shortly after Svinos had a stinging shot saved by Cassandra Nader in goal.
The Allstars grabbed the ascendency when Helen Petinos ran onto Sam Bergins pass down the left and hit an inch perfect shot past the keeper to give her side a valuable 1-0 lead.
The game was a close tight contest and the Vipers got back into the game after 9 minutes when Cayla White sped down the left side and squeezed her shot between the keeper and the post to make the score 1-1.
Doris Osman was playing from the back and chiming into the attack at the right moment and she nearly scored when she charged down a pass and sped forward but Allstar keeper Charlene Borg came out and made a great block.
In the last minute of the half Helen Petinos collected the ball down the right then stepped inside and crashed an unstoppable shot into the top corner for a brilliant goal to give the Allstars a 2-1 lead going into half time.
The second half ebbed and flowed as each side fought hard for possession of the ball and had chances to score.
Juliana Dundovic intercepted a loose pass and shot just wide and a little later Juliana forced a great block from Cassandra Nader while a trademark Doris Osman run was foiled by a great stop from Charlene Borg.
Helen Orr almost equalised when she broke down the right but her shot struck a post.
Shortly after Doris Osman made a determined run forward evaded the defenders and shot across the keeper to level the game at 2-2.
With the game delicately poised the contest went from end to end as each side went for the winner.
Helen Petinos hit a stinging shot that Cassandra Nader did well to save and Doris Osman found Ceyda Cambas but her shot was well stopped by Charlene Borg.
Late in the game Cayla White scored the winner when she combined well with Helen Orr to smash the ball home from close range to send the Mascot camp into whoops of delight.
Shortly after Ceyda Cambaz shot just wide and later forced a great block from Charlene Borg to keep her side in the contest.
The Allstars threw everything at Mascot which had them clinging on in defence to protect their lead but the Vipers held on to win a fabulous game of Futsal 3-2
Coach Erkin Osman was full of praise for his girls never-say-die spirit saying that they are big hearted players and that once they get in front its hard to take the lead off them.
Two closely matched sides played their part in a thrilling game of Futsal but there can only be one winner and today it was the never say die girls from Mascot.
