Super Youth League Round 25 Review

Club Championship
In their first round clash Spirit FC had taken nine points from Granville Rage and this time Spirit went one better when they earned ten points from the day. Then, in catch-up action from Round 22 Spirit FC took ten points from Sydney University. Spirit are now sitting at the top of this table by a margin of nine points while Rage are sixth.
Second placed Central Coast had collected twelve points from the first round encounter with tenth placed Macarthur Rams but they had to be content with nine points from this week?s meeting.
Blacktown Spartans had grabbed all fifteen points from their first round encounter with West Sydney Berries but on this occasion the Spartans were forced to settle for thirteen points. This leaves the Spartans at third and the Berries at twelfth.
Western NSW Panthers had taken ten of the first round points when they met Dulwich Hill last time around but the Panthers had to be content with eight points from the week?s clash. Western are placed fourth and Dully are seventh.
When they faced each other in the first round Mounties Wanderers had pocketed ten points from their matches against Sydney University but Uni turned the tables this time when they took thirteen points from the day. Uni are in fifth position and Mounties are placed eighth.
Fraser Park had the bye this week and they are in ninth place.
Schofields Scorpions and Northern Tigers had claimed seven points each last time the faced each other but the Tigers came to the fore this week when they took eleven points from the day. In Round 22 catch-up action Northern Tigers collected eight points from their matches against Granville Rage, an outcome that has left the Tigers at tenth.
Grade 13
Central Coast completed the double this week when they recorded a 3-1 victory over Macarthur Rams who they had defeated with a 2-1 scoreline in the first round. Central Coast are currently seven points clear at the top of the table and that is enough for them to claim the Premiership while the Rams are fourth.
A win by the odd goal in five had given Blacktown Spartans the first round points over West Sydney Berries and the Spartans completed the double this week when they came up with a 1-0 result. The Spartans are in second spot and the Berries are eleventh.
The third placed Skillaroos had rolled thirteenth placed Fraser Park with a 4-0 result in their first round clash but this time the teams shared the spoils when their match ended at 1-1.
Mounties Wanderers had taken the first round points with a 1-0 win over Sydney University but it was a very different story this week when Uni produced a very strong 7-0 result. This leaves the Mounties at sixth and Uni are eighth after their Round 22 catch-up match against Spirit gave them a 3-0 win.
Spirit FC had beaten Granville Rage 3-1 when they met last time around and this time Spirit showed some improvement when they registered a 4-1 scoreline. Spirit are now placed seventh and Rage are twelfth.
Schofields Scorpions had produced a 2-0 victory when the faced Northern Tigers last time but this time their clash was locked at 1-1 when the final whistle sounded. The Scorpions are eighth and the Tigers are placed fourteenth.
In catch-up action from Round 22 Northern Tigers posted their third win of the season when they were 3-2 victors over Granville Rage.
Fifth Placed Western NSW Panthers were 3-0 winners when they met tenth placed Dulwich Hill in the first round but this week the teams shared the spoils when their match finished at 1-1.
Grade 14
Central Coast had knocked over Macarthur Rams with a 6-0 scoreline when they met last time but it was a different story this week when their return game ended in a 2-2 draw. This leaves Central Coast seven points clear at the top of the table and the Rams are eleventh.
Mounties Wanderers and Sydney University had battled out a 1-1 first round draw but on this occasion Uni claimed all the points when they were 1-0 winners. In catch-up action from Round 22 Uni were beaten 3-1 by Spirit FC.
As a result, Uni are in second spot and Mounties are placed fourth
Granville Rage had taken the first round points from Spirit FC with a 2-1 result and Rage completed the double with a 1-0 outcome this time. However, the three points Spirit collected from Uni has left them at third while Granville are sixth.
Western NSW Panthers had knocked off Dulwich Hill with a 1-0 result in their first round encounter but this time the spoils were shared equally when the scoreboard read 0-0 at full-time. Dully are sitting in fifth position and the Panthers are eighth.
Ninth placed Blacktown Spartans were 1-0 winners over twelfth placed West Sydney Berries in the first round and the Spartans went on with the job as they posted a 2-0 scoreline this time around.

In catch-up action from Round 22 Spirit FC produced a 2-0 win over Sydney University. In the end, Uni are one point clear at the top of the table and Mounties are fifth.
Second placed Dulwich Hill had claimed the first round points from seventh placed Western NSW Panthers when they scored the only goal of the match and this week Dully went on with the job when they posted a strong 5-2 result.
Granville Rage had suffered a 2-0 loss last time they saw Spirit FC and there was more of the same this time when Spirit earned the points with a 5-1 outcome. When added to the points they earned from the match against Uni, Spirit are now placed third and Rage are twelfth.

In catch-up action from Round 22 Spirit FC battled out a 1-1 draw with Sydney University. Spirit are four points ahead at the top of the table while Granville are in second spot thanks to the three points they earned with a 1-0 win in a Round 22 catch-up match against Northern Tigers.
Third placed Central Coast recorded a 1-0 victory over eleventh placed Macarthur Rams this week and that completed the double as they had won the first round match 3-1.

This week Western NSW Panthers posted a 2-1 success when they faced Dulwich Hill and that goes with the 2-0 result the Panthers had achieved in the first round. Western are sitting at the top of the table and Dully are seventh.
The first round points had gone to second placed Northern Tigers thanks to their 2-0 win over thirteenth placed Schofields Scorpions and this time the teams battled it out for a 1-1 draw. In Round 22 catch-up action the Tigers battled out a scoreless draw with Granville Rage.
Fourth placed Spirit FC had grabbed the first round points from third placed Granville Rage with a 5-0 scoreline but on this occasion the teams split the points with a 2-2 draw. In catch-up action from Round 22, Spirit FC came up with a 4-0 victory over Sydney University.
