Outdoor Trial Periods
Please find following details relating to the trial periods for the 2020 Competitions.
Approved trial dates have been established to ensure all players are provided the opportunity to trial in the Football NSW Competition/Program environment. The staggered scheduling allows those players that are unsuccessful in trialing for the Football NSW Institute or an NPL team to have an opportunity to be selected for a team in divisions below.
Trials are to conclude by the identified Finish Date. No trials are to be conducted prior to the advertised dates above. Failure to comply with the above requirements may result in sanctions or penalties determined by Football NSW in its absolute discretion.
In order to maintain the integrity of the Futsal Premier Leagues Competitions and allow players the opportunity to meet their Futsal commitments NO Outdoor Football Trials, Training or Trial matches are permitted to be scheduled or take place on ANY Saturday during the Futsal Season. Further to this, 30 November and 1 December 2019 will be a Futsal Only weekend, NO Outdoor Football will be permitted to take place on this weekend. This is due to a double header Competition Fixtures weekend that has been scheduled. 1st Grade NPL (top tier) teams only, are exempt from this policy. All other grades (teams) and Competitions must strictly adhere to this policy. Failure to comply with this policy may result in sanctions or penalties determined by Football NSW in its absolute discretion. For clarity, the Futsal Season Finishes with the Futsal Grand Finals held on Sunday 22 December 2019.
Men’s
Official Trial Periods are not applicable to the 18s, 20s and 1st Grade competitions in the following competitions:
- NPL New South Wales Men’s
- NPL New South Wales Men’s 2
- NPL New South Wales Men’s 3
- NPL New South Wales Men’s 4
For clarity, any club participating in a competition above is not limited in its trial window for their 18s, 20s and 1st Grade age groups only.
