Future is bright for the new FFA ‘C’ Licence coaches

P1040184

The theoretical and practical courses were held between December 2011 and February 2012 and now, after a six-month break, the coaches undertook theoretical and practical assessments in key areas in order to obtain their FFA C Licence coaching accreditation.

Football NSW Coach Education Manager Oscar Gonzalez hailed the course as a success and said that he was excited to see what the future holds for the coaches that have recently gained their C Licence.

?The final assessment is conducted eight weeks after the last session of the course to allow candidates to reflect and practice what they have learnt,? Gonzalez said.
Areas such as passing drills, positioning, game training, team and player learning, conducting sessions, formations and defending were covered in the course.
All of the coaches were tested through practical assessments and a written exam, which included questions on the FIFA Laws of the Game.

?All candidates need to pass all areas of the assessment and they are required to sit several practical presentations in order to be evaluated as competent,? Gonzalez said.

?When successful candidates have passed, they are sent an official letter of congratulations and their FFA C-Licence certificate. A further two years experience is required, unless the candidate is approved by FFA to apply for their B Licence? he concluded.

Listed below are the candidates who successfully obtained their C Licence and they should be recognised by the football community for their efforts and application.
